KJPAS 2010 Summer Performing Arts Camps
Greetings from the Artistic Director
Dear Performing Arts Camper,
Welcome to THE professional performing arts camp in the region –the only place to go
if you want to enter your next audition fully prepared, with confidence, and get the
part. There is a lot of competition out there –let me give you the edge you‛ll need to
succeed. From professional headshots and resumes to audition workshops, we‛ve got you
covered. And it‛s all included in your camp tuition. KJPAS serves as a local casting
agency and the fact is 10-15 campers each year are cast in professional paying jobs in
television commercials and print ads. And many more land leading roles at the Roanoke
Children‛s Theatre, Mill Mountain Conservatory, Showtimers, and school productions.
What makes us different? A professional staff (many with Broadway credits) who know
which skills matter and how to teach them. Whether you‛re a serious performer looking
for quality training or a newcomer looking for a fun, positive theatrical experience, we
have a place for you.
2010 Showcase performances will feature songs
from Wicked and The Wizard of Oz,
and Oz scenes by Dwayne Yancey
