8) Don't forget to talk about the dress
code for your musicians. I always suggest that I wear my
tuxedo so that I fit right in with the wedding party. You
might have other idea's, so be sure to state them in the
contract.
9) You've heard the old adage about
how musicians 'play' for their dinner? Well, please don't
forget that we need nourishment too (especially if we are
performing for several hours). Plan on buying an extra plate
for your musicians. The gesture will go a long, long way!
10) Shakespeare wrote, "If Music be
the food of love, play on". This is going to be the greatest
day of your life! Let the music fill your heart and soul
with love!
